What Makes Sand Hills Casino Different
Sand Hills Casino offers a more compact gaming experience than a large resort casino. Its main attractions are the slot floor, Gold Club benefits, and Oasis Bar & Grill, which also hosts free live music on selected weekends.
The Gaming Floor
What sets it apart:
- 300 slot machines: The casino offers a selection of electronic gaming machines, including themed titles and progressive jackpot games.
- Jackpot opportunities: The casino publishes reports about individual winners and cumulative slot payouts. Past results do not guarantee future wins.
- No confirmed live table games: The current official gaming page does not list live blackjack, roulette, or poker as available facilities, despite older third-party descriptions mentioning them.
Who it suits:
- Slot enthusiasts: Visitors who prefer electronic games over traditional table games.
- Local players: The location south of Carberry makes it accessible to people travelling around western Manitoba.
- Casual visitors: Those who want to combine gaming with a meal or an evening of entertainment.
Gold Club Rewards
Gold Club is the casino's free loyalty programme. Members earn Gopher Points through eligible slot play and can redeem rewards according to the programme's terms.
What sets it apart:
- Free registration: New members receive C$10 in free slot play under the published offer.
- Cash-back rewards: The published conversion rate is 300 Gopher Points for C$1 in cash back.
- Dining and retail discounts: Members can receive 25% off eligible regular food purchases at Oasis Bar & Grill and regular-priced clothing and giftware in the gift shop.
Who it suits:
- Regular visitors: Players who return often and want to collect points.
- Dining guests: Members who plan to eat at Oasis Bar & Grill.
- Eligible older members: Separate age-restricted promotions offer additional free play or dining deals, subject to their terms.
Oasis Bar & Grill
Oasis Bar & Grill adds a dining and social element to the casino. Its menu includes casual meals, snacks, and drinks, with a late-night menu for visitors staying into the evening.
What sets it apart:
- Extended dining hours: The regular menu runs until 10 PM Sunday–Thursday and 11 PM Friday–Saturday.
- Late-night food: The late menu is available until midnight Sunday–Thursday and 1 AM Friday–Saturday.
- Live entertainment: Free live music takes place on selected Friday and Saturday evenings.
Who it suits:
- Groups of friends: A place to eat and socialise during a casino visit.
- Late-night visitors: Those looking for food after the regular dinner period.
- Music fans: Guests who want to check the entertainment schedule before visiting.
Sand Hills Casino Online
Sand Hills Casino is a physical casino rather than an online gambling operator. Its official website warns visitors about fraudulent websites and advertisements using the casino's name to promote online gambling.

Anyone searching for sand hills casino online should verify the website before registering or sharing payment details. A third-party site using the casino's name should not be assumed to be affiliated with the physical venue.
Who the Physical Casino Suits
- Visitors who prefer in-person gaming: The casino provides a land-based slot floor and on-site services.
- Gold Club members: Rewards are tied to the casino's own programme and eligible activity.
- People seeking dining and entertainment: Oasis Bar & Grill offers meals and selected live music events.
It is not the right choice for anyone specifically seeking an official Sand Hills-branded mobile casino, online login or digital welcome bonus, because those services have not been verified.
Dining, Promotions and Visitor Information
Visitors searching for the Sand Hills Casino buffet menu should know that the current official dining pages feature Oasis Bar & Grill, not a confirmed operating buffet. The restaurant's published menu includes dishes such as beer-battered pickerel, prairie mac and cheese, and Japanese tempura shrimp. Its late menu features options including baked nachos, chicken wings, and a double cheeseburger.
Gold Club members can receive 25% off eligible regular food purchases. The casino also publishes limited-time dining offers, including weekday senior specials for eligible members aged 50 and over. Menu items, prices, and promotions may change, so check the official Oasis Bar & Grill menu before visiting.
Promotions and Winners
Sand Hills Casino advertises a changing schedule of gaming promotions. Examples include Gopher Scrolls, prize draws, free-play offers and Gopher Points multipliers. Some promotions require Gold Club membership, attendance at the casino, or other eligibility conditions.
The casino also publishes information about past jackpots and Sand Hills Casino winners. These reports can be useful for understanding the venue's gaming activity, but a previous jackpot is not evidence that another player will win or that a particular machine is more likely to pay out.
Responsible Gambling
Casino gaming should remain entertainment rather than a way to earn income. Slot outcomes are random, and neither previous winners nor past jackpot amounts predict future results.
Practical Ways to Stay in Control
- Set a spending limit: Decide how much you can afford to lose before arriving.
- Set a time limit: Plan when to stop rather than extending a session to recover losses.
- Avoid chasing losses: Increasing bets does not guarantee that money will be recovered.
- Take breaks: Step away from gaming and enjoy other activities during your visit.
- Seek support if needed: Manitoba residents can consult provincial responsible-gambling resources for confidential information and assistance.
